Corporate Partner David Allen raises £12,000 for GNAAS

Well done to our Corporate Partner David Allen who raised an incredible £12,000 for GNAAS in a year.

The company, which was established in 1997, is a leading professional services provider to businesses and individuals in Cumbria and Southwest Scotland.

They operate from offices located in Carlisle, Dalston, Dumfries, Penrith, and Workington and offer several services including accountancy, tax, financial services, recovery solutions, IT solutions, payroll services and Wills and Probate.

Every year David Allen chooses a charity to support from January to December, and we were fortunate enough to be their charity of the year in 2024.

The company carried out a series of fundraising initiatives to support GNAAS, including making a donation to us from every Will written in May, arranging a family dog walk, organising a trivia mystery pub crawl, attending our golf day in Brampton, collecting donations at summer shows, and hosting a sponsored rugby day.

They then matched their fundraising which resulted in an amazing £12,000 being donated, and they were awarded Corporate Partner status in recognition of their support.

Businesses need to raise a minimum of £5,000 for GNAAS to become a Corporate Partner and if they reach £10,000 they qualify to have their logo displayed on one of our rapid response vehicles used by our doctors and paramedics.

The company’s Tax Partner, Lucy Metcalf, had the honour of visiting our charity during our Corporate Partners celebration event, where David Allen’s logo was unveiled on the side of one of our vehicles, and will remain there for a year.  She said “We are absolutely delighted to be recognised for our support to GNAAS as an official Corporate Partner, following their time as our Charity of the Year for 2024.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our team and the generosity of our community, we were proud to raise £12,000 to support this vital service.”

Their IT Account Manager, Connor Fish, has since taken part in a charity skydive called Jump 4 GNAAS and raised a fantastic £660.

David Arnold, Director of David Allen IT Solutions commented: “We are so proud of Connor’s courage and determination in support of such a fantastic cause.”
